The Allentown Yoga Works is an all encompassing yoga studio and fitness center dedicated to creating a healthy, vibrant community. We are located in the century old Bobbin Works Building and centrally located to serve Allentown and the larger Lehigh Valley. We offer a variety yoga styles (hot and not hot), tai chi, fitness classes (barre method, kettlebells) and silent meditation, as well as workshops and lectures on health and wellness.

The Allentown Yoga Works has antimicrobial flooring and UV Lamps in our heat ducts. UV lamps are the safest way to eliminate airborne allergens, bacteria, viruses, mold, fungi and more. UV light treats the air with UV sterilization, immediately killing micro-organisms as they pass by and preventing them from reproducing. The Allentown Yoga Works also features a Freshaire ERV system, which consistently brings fresh air into and takes stale air out of the room. You can feel good knowing that you have a constant circulation of fresh HOT air during class. The Allentown Yoga Works is equipped with dressing rooms and showers for your convenience. There is a filtered water station in the student lounge area. This is available free of charge to all students.

The Allentown Yoga Works offers as it main class Bikrams Beginning Yoga. Bikrams Yoga is also known as the Original Hot Yoga. It is a challenging, exciting and effective series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises, scientifically designed to deliver total health through the balancing of every system in the body in order to prevent illness and injury, promote weight loss, and limit the effects of aging. This class combines concentration, patience, determination, and self-control to bring about increased mental clarity and reduced stress. We heat the room to allow for a deeper workout, prevent injury, and cleanse the body by flushing toxins, so come prepared to work hard and sweat! Bring a large towel, bottle of water and a mat – if you don’t have these you can rent them at the studio.
Bikram Yoga’s series is suitable for all ages, genders, and levels of fitness. Everyone can benefit from this total body workout!
